PCD Family Day 2012: Celebrate Our 10th Anniversary!
PDF Print E-mail

Join us for the 10th anniversary of PCD Family Education Day in North Carolina, June 29 and 30, 2012!

2012 marks an important milestone for the PCD Foundation. Our first family education event was held in 2002. PCD has come a long way since then and we want to celebrate with our PCD community!

As in past years, this event will feature educational sessions and talks from top experts in PCD research and management, as well as lots of opportunities to get to know other families and affected individuals. Additionally, we are planning special events to commemorate and celebrate the PCD Foundation and those who have been instrumental in making it successful (including all of you!).

Registration & Waivers

The registration fee is a flat rate that covers:

  • Friday night reception
  • Continental breakfast
  • Lunch and dinner on Saturday
  • All educational sessions
  • Access to PCD experts

Fees can be paid with any credit card, using the online PayPal service. Registration fees can also be made by check to the address below, however registration will not be finalized until payment is received.

A cross-infection waiver signed by or on behalf of the affected individual(s) is required from all attendees. See registration form for waiver.

Hotel & Transportation

Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Millenium Hotel in Durham, North Carolina at a starting rate of $89. Reserve hotel rooms online or call the hotel directly at 800-633-5379.

Please note: This rate is for a double room. Please specify room size (double), rather than number of occupants to receive the $89 rate.

Be Casual & Comfortable

Dress code is casual. We want everyone to be comfortable and ready to learn! The Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area is traditionally hot and humid at this time of year, but check the weather prior to attending and plan accordingly. Hotel meeting rooms can be quite cold, so be sure to bring sweaters or light jackets for the sessions.

We look forward to seeing all of you in Chapel Hill!
