Like most chronic disorders, PCD requires daily management.  The trick is to decide who will be doing the ‘managing.’  Are you going to manage your disease or is it going to manage you? Granted, the burden of disease in PCD can vary greatly and for some, especially with advanced lung disease, the impact on quality of life can be significant.  But regardless of where you fall on the spectrum of disease severity, it is never too late to take charge of your care.  Remember, you are the world expert on you!  The information in this section is provided to arm you with the most current data on PCD diagnosis and care (in the United States) so you can be a better advocate for your own health!
